Redoing Jeff’s room (but he doesn’t know it yet… Hi Jeff!) and I’m thinking midcentury modern would be a great direction to go. It’s very streamlined and masculine - he already has a few midcentury pieces including the Eames chair, and it fits the architectural vibe of his house in Laurel Canyon.
Here’s inspiration #1!

cherry blossoms really class up any room situation, even if there’s a grumpy rabbit smoking a cig right next to it
For Jeff Schro:
Gestalten.tv is proud to present an exclusive video interview with Marilyn Neuhart, author of “The Story of Eames Furniture”, and her husband John. Both have worked with the Eames Office in various capacities from the 1950s. Having been in close proximity to Charles and Ray Eames as well as the members of the Eames Office and their patron manufacturers for almost 30 years, the Neuharts had the extraordinary opportunity to absorb their stories. At their Los Angeles home, they tell the tale of working with Charles Eames in Gestalten.tv’s latest look behind the Eames.

I love how I’m like “Jeff where have you been finding all this cool stuff lately?” and Jeff’s like “….”
hmm I respect that.

My friend Jeff sent me this one… I love the black walls and the symmetry. The unique couch looks beautiful along with the Marilyn screen prints, huge mirror, vintage lamps and kentia plants. Favorite room of the month so far

My friend sent me this great article about a guy who lives in a tiny 182-square foot condo in Seattle.
Steve Sauer is interior engineer for Boeing, so it makes sense that he would prefer to live in a home without any wasted space, and with a preference of quality over quantity.
This room is total proof that with creativity and a passion for making your living space truly original - you can make ANY room of ANY size look great.
check out the rest of the article here.
Thanks JS!
